As the title implies, this photograph was shot in 1983 in the "turn of the Casino" in the Monte Carlo side of Monaco. The previous year, Keke Rosberg (the pilot here) had been World Champion, and was consequently driving the car #1, a Williams. In this race, Rosberg, in spite of being disadvantaged due to the lack of turbo, was visibly driving faster than all the others. He is here in a classic sliding turn, straightening the car's trajectory with a counter turn of the wheels, all in a typical Monaco setting. He won the Grand prix de Monaco that day.

The print reproduced here, was made on Chloro-Bromide paper toned with gold on silver sulfur.

This photograph was was published in 1990 by "Humour à la Carte" an art postcard publisher, it is long out of stock. Collectors material.
